This year's focus is on Targeted Classroom Assessment and Instructional Strategies that Support Student Learning. ODE assessment staff will provide three presentations on Smarter Balanced Performance Tasks: An Overview, a hands-on session focused on Mathematics, and a hands-on session focused on English Language Arts/Literacy. In addition, assessment staff will present: Are you smarter than a 5th grader, Assessment of Essential Skills, and Planning for the Transition.
