Request for Proposals for Oregon's 2014-15 Assessment System

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE)'s current contract for the delivery of the OAKS and ELPA assessments expires at the close of the 2013-14 school year. ODE will be looking for a vendor experienced in web-based student assessment test delivery, scoring methodology, and related services to provide a web-based testing system in science, social sciences, and English language development that is also compatible with the specifications of the Smarter common assessment for mathematics and English language arts/literacy. The system will become available for operational testing starting in the 2014-15 school year.

ODE plans to post a Request for Proposals (RFP) in the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) by October 2012. Please check ORPIN for progress notes on this very important RFP for Education (http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/welcome). Please note, you must be registered as a vendor and have log-in information in order to access ORPIN. The ORPIN notice number is ODE 1093-12.
