| MEMORANDUM NO. 011-2011-12 - Retirement of Mac 10.3 Operating System for Online Testing |
To: Superintendents and District Test Coordinators Re: Retirement of Mac 10.3 Operating System for Online Testing in 2012-2013 Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, ODE’s test vendor, American Institutes for Research (AIR), will no longer support the Mac 10.3 Operating System for use in online testing, including OAKS Online, Online Writing, and the ELPA, because Mac 10.3 is not compatible with the enhanced security features that will be incorporated in the 2012-13 OAKS Secure Browser.
