Introducing "Smarter News" eNewsletter

Each month, beginning in May 2012, Smarter News will provide updates on the development of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System and activities in member states. Their goal is not only to provide information about progress, but also to create a forum to share knowledge and resources about the Common Core State Standards and next-generation assessments.

This month, Smarter News includes information about the implementation of the Common Core State Standards, accessibility for students with disabilities and English language learners, and progress in developing the Smarter Balanced assessments.
