NEW: Bandwidth Testing Tool on OAKS Portal

On Friday, April 13 AIR will add a new tool to the diagnostic tests offered through the OAKS Online Portal that allows users to evaluate whether they have adequate bandwidth for the number of students they plan to test. Users will be able to select a test from a drop down menu and then enter the number of students they intend to test:

Once the user enters this information and clicks on “Run Network Diagnostics Tests” the user will receive a message regarding whether they will be able to test the number of students entered with the current available bandwidth. While this information will be accurate at the time the diagnostic test is run, users should be aware that traffic on the network may change during the testing session and this could affect the testing session.

Users can access this and other diagnostic tests by clicking on the “Run diagnostics” link at the bottom of the student practice test log-in page (https://oakspt.tds.airast.org/student/).
