Early Bird Opportunities for Essential Skill Assessment Training

Two sessions on assessing Essential Skills through work samples will be held next week via WebEx to provide local district staff developers with training and materials to conduct workshops.

August 23 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm PDT will provide participants with overview workshop materials (Level 1) for the three required Essential Skills: Reading, Writing and Mathematics. August 25 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm PDT is focused on the Essential Skill of Reading and will provide participants with training and materials to lead workshops for Introductory Scoring Guide Training (Level 2) and In-Depth Scoring Guide Training (Level 3).
