Final 2011-12 Test Administration Manual Is Posted

The final version of the 2011-12 Test Administration Manual has been posted to http://www.ode.state.or.us/go/tam. Please note the following important changes to the Manual for 2011-12:

Guidance on administering OAKS to students who use Braille through the new Braille interface of OAKS Online.
Guidance on the computer-based read-aloud feature available to all students through OAKS Online for OAKS Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences.
Updated guidance on testing high school students prior to the grade of accountability.
Guidance on the restriction of the Writing Performance Assessment to students enrolled in Grade 11
Guidance on providing activities for non-testing students.
Updated guidance on the assessment of Essential Skills.

All district test coordinators, school test coordinators, and test administrators are responsible for reading and understanding the 2011-12 Test Administration Manual. For specific reading requirements by role, please see p. 2 of the Manual.
