As we work together to implement the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), we will all have a role to play in ensuring that students, parents, teachers, and communities understand what the standards are, why they are important, and what we can all do to support student success.
ODE has developed a web page (www.ode.state.or.us/go/commoncore) where the most current information about the CCSS can be found. The goal of the site is to provide all members of Oregon’s education community with information, materials and resources related to the Common Core.
Specific pages have been developed for both English language arts and mathematics, as well as pages dedicated to providing information related the transition, and communication tools for districts. |
