School Closure Notice: John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center

Important Information for Students of John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center

John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center notified the Oregon Department of Education that it was closing on September 24, 2008.

Possible Tuition Reimbursement: Students enrolled in John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center at the time of its closure on September 24, 2008 and who were unable to complete their educational program may be eligible for partial or complete tuition reimbursement under the Private Career School Tuition Protection Fund (TPF).

The TPF only covers tuition amounts and does not cover fees or supply costs that students may have paid. Each student making a claim must complete and submit the Oregon Tuition Protection Fund Student Claim Form.

TPF Submittal Deadline: A completed claim form, copy of enrollment agreement and documentation of all payments made (by student or lender) must be submitted to the Oregon Department of Education no later than January 31, 2009 to be considered eligible for possible reimbursement.

The following students are not eligible for reimbursement from the TPF:
-- Those who graduated prior to September 24, 2008.
-- Those who entered into separate contracts with John Casablancas for Photo Shoots, Portfolios and Agent representation.
