On Thursday June 18, the State Board of Education adopted amendments to OAR 581-022-1060 which regulates school and district performance report criteria.
Key changes:
- Change of date by when State Superintendent must release school and district report cards to the public and the media from January 30 to December 15.
- Change of date by when schools must send a copy of school and district report cards to parents or guardians from December 15 to January 15.
- Change of rating categories from five categories to three. New categories are: Outstanding, Satisfactory, and In Need of Improvement.
