The Oregon Department of Education (ODE), in concert with stakeholders, is currently revising Oregon’s 9-12 Mathematics Academic Content Standards. Draft 1 was posted for public comment earlier in October and presented at meetings statewide to gather feedback from Oregon educators. On October 28, 2008, the panel completed Draft 2.  In November, the Mathematics Content Panel will review the feedback from the 2nd draft to produce Draft 3, which will be posted for public comment in late-November. The final draft will be provided to the State Board of Education for first review in April and adoption in May 2009.
