The New Automated Oregon School Directory is Now Online!

ODE will no longer be printing a School Directory. The Directory has been moved to an automated online system that provides more accurate and reliable information on Oregon schools. Schools will now be able to update their information throughout the school year.

The Oregon School Directory is a phone book listing phone numbers, addresses, and key staff people in all public schools and districts in the state. The Directory also contains information on Oregon Department of Education staff along with additional information about private schools, other educational institutions, and statistics on the number and composition of Oregon schools.

This new directory format will allow you to:

Update changes throughout the year and have those changes reflected in the online directory within 30 days.
Easily search for information in the online directory using either the county tabs or the Find field in the upper right.
Email staff directly from the directory. If you click on an email listed in the directory, it will automatically open up an email to that person.
Visit a website directly from the directory. If you click on a district website listed in the directory, it will automatically open the webpage for you.
Reduce paper consumption. If you download the PDF to your desktop, you can easily access this information without ever printing or only printing the pages used most frequently.
Receive updated information throughout the year. You can download a new version of the directory throughout the year to make sure you are seeing the latest information.
Receive unlimited copies of the online directory FREE. In the past, each school received two printed copies of the directory for their school’s use. Now, all staff can download the directory to their desktops and have up-to-date contacts at their fingertips.
