							The Discipline Incidents collection opens May 16, 2013 and closes July 1, 2012. Information and details will be posted as they become available. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
All Oregon school districts are required to complete this data collection. District level staff responsible for the discipline data are required to complete the district submission through the Consolidated Collections on the Applications menu after logging in through the district’s website. Information on the collection is available at. (Reminder: Your data submission must be verified and error free to be accepted by the ODE by 7/1/2013.)

Please mark your calendar for the 3rd annual Innovative Schools Conference, October 11, 2013 in Gervais:&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br&gt;
The Northwest Innovative Schools Network (NWISN) Conference was developed to address isolation expressed by alternative school educators and provides professional development and networking on Oregon statewide inservice day. 
&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;
The one-day conference is held annually at Gervais High School in Gervais, Oregon where approximately 150 staff from innovative schools gather and attend workshops focused on professional learning designed to support alternative school educators and administrators.

&lt;br/&gt;
(Salem, Ore.)&lt;/i&gt; - Deputy Superintendent Rob Saxton and Apex Learning® today announced a new partnership that will provide Oregon public high school students with access to online Advanced Placement* test preparation at no cost to the school or student. Starting this winter, Oregon students will have access to a range of tools and resources to help them better prepare to take, and succeed in, their AP exams. This initiative is tied to Governor Kitzhaber’s education reform efforts and the urgent need to ensure all students are prepared for college and career in order to meet our state’s 40-40-20 goal.
