The Oregon Department of Education/Oregon School for the Deaf is conducting a search for the Supervising Teacher (Director of Instruction). This position is permanent, full-time (based on a 220-day school year) and is in management service.

The Oregon School for the Deaf (OSD) provides direct 24-hour educational and residential services to approximately 120 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, kindergarten through 21. There is currently one permanent, full-time position available with the Office of Assessment and Information Services (OAIS) at the Oregon Department of Education in Salem, Oregon.

The Office of Assessment and Information Services has two primary functions: student assessment; and the collection, validation, and reporting of data for education research, policy-making, and operations. The technical expertise of staff in this unit is available to districts to support business and financial functions.
