Can I create custom links to the Super Search, with pre-selected text?
    Yes. See these details:

    Constructing a Link
    1. http://www.ode.state.or.us
This tells your link where the web site is.
    2. /apps/oss/search.aspx
This tells your link which web page use.
    3. ?srchVar=medical+assistant
This identifies what will be put into the text search. Put a + (plus sign) between each word instead of using spaces. The example above would search for "medical assistant". If you only search one word, you don't need any plus - (e.g. "medical")
    4. &type=FA,O,PR,CK,CP,FK,FP,L,T
This tells your link which area(s) to search in. Separate each area with a comma, and use the following legend to identify the areas:
      • FA = Focus Areas
      • O = Occupation
      • PR = HS and CC Programs
      • CK = Cluster KS
      • CP = Cluster PI
      • FK = Focus Area KS
      • FP = Focus Area PI
      • L = Miscellaneous Links
      • T = Assessments (formerly Tests)
    5. &filter=ALL
This tells your link what type of filter to use. Only select one; make sure you use capitol letters; don't use any spaces. Use the following legend to identify the filter:
      • ALL = Searches All Words
      • ANY = Searches Any Words
      • EXACT = Searches the Exact Phrase
The final link for this example would look like this:

    http://www.ode.state.or.us/apps/oss/search.aspx?srchVar=medical+assistant&type=FA,O,PR,CK,CP,FK,FP,L,T&filter=ALL

If I wanted to search both the search words in only the Occupations and Programs areas, it would be:

    http://www.ode.state.or.us/apps/oss/search.aspx?srchVar=medical+assistant&type=O,PR&filter=ALL
